no one told me that it sucked. Billy already owned our house when we got married so I didn't really get a say in the matter and now that we are ready to buy a bigger house for our growing family it is not as much fun as I thought it would be. Every time one of our friends was telling us about buying
their house I would always say "that must be so much fun I can't wait until I get to to that" why didn't they tell me. It is not fun at all!! One day we'll buy a brand new house so we get to pick exactly how we want it until then i guess we will just have to settle on dirty carpets hideous bright orange paint and weird smells, is it too much to ask for a house with a functional
floor plan in a good neighborhood (yes I know this is
lancaster) and a decent school. Hopefully this will come to an end soon and I can blog about my awesome new house and put a cheesy family picture out in our new front yard up and then I can say it was worth the frustration and how silly it was to whine about it. Wish me luck.
i feel ur pain we looked forever for a house and walked through many gross houses that made me want to cry! we got lucky being able to find a new house for an affordable price so my only advice is be patient and dont settle for anything u dont love! or u could move here i would love that!!:)
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry it hasn't been fun. But good thing you're in the right market to be a buyer! James Stockdale is a real estate agent if you need help finding one. He's pretty good.
